The presentation will investigate the history of Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) from conception in Germany to UK adoption and the emergence of these using constantly developing fibre technology. Rick and Steve will demonstate best practice production techniques with sustainable technical cellulose fibre.
In addition to secondary waste paper pellets the VIATOP+ range now includes a broad range of functional asphalt additives to modifiy asphalt and bitumen characteristics for carbon reduction, reuse and rejuvenation. These topics will be explored and finally discussed with the attendees in a live Q&A session.
