An interactive afternoon, covering the MPA's sweeper/bond coat sprayer paper which is currently at Phase 1 – this session will give you the chance to input into the next phase of development as this is an all experience project to make our sites safer.
Brett Coupland (Hanson) will present the latest on the People Plant Interface working group he sits on, and information about the South East Highways Alliance Driver Information Cards.
There will be a chance to go outside and sit in a tanker and sweeper and 8- wheel lorry to get a better insight into what our drivers can and cannot see, as well as looking at a visual mat that has been produced to show where workers, pedestrians and cyclists can and cannot be seen. All in all, this is going to be an afternoon focussed on PPI and safety - a great learning experience but also the chance to make a difference with future guidance.
And to top it off - you will get some great food (two courses no less!) and the chance to network with your peers!
Tickets are £5 members, £10 non-members.
