As the UK's largest and most experienced in-situ road recycling company, Stabilised Pavements Ltd (SPL) has been at the forefront of sustainable road rehabilitation for over two decades.
The primary aim of BS 9228 was to increase the level of road recycling in the UK and with a current emphasis on carbon reduction targets, there has never been a better time to reconsider conventional road reconstructions for structurally failed roads and realise carbon, cost, and time savings.
The development and implementation of alternatives to cement is driving down carbon emissions even further within this already sustainable road maintenance option.
