Using Automated Construction Monitoring

Digital Systems are now available that can monitor almost every aspect of the road surfacing operation. In order to harness the benefits of this Transport Scotland now requires these systems to be used in large scale maintenance and new build works.

This talks explains why this is needed and how these systems are already being used to benefit the contractor, client and road user. This talk is an output from collaboration between Transport Scotland, the MPA Scotland and the IAT.
