Executive Director Lyle Andrew to leave IAT at end of November

I am writing to inform all members of the Institute of Asphalt Technology (IAT) that Lyle Andrew will step down from his role as Executive Director at the end of November 2024.
 
Lyle has served as Executive Director, previously Director of Development, for over six years, during which time he has worked with four different Presidents.
 
Together, we faced the challenges of the COVID pandemic, which Lyle and the Institute managed exceptionally well. We learned many lessons and gained significant benefits, particularly through the success of our online events and the increased use of virtual meeting platforms.
 
In his role, Lyle has also helped the IAT deliver several highly successful conferences, numerous CPD events, and other asphalt-related activities, while building lasting relationships. These are just a few of the positive impacts he has made. He also played a key role in revising our strategy to maximize benefits for our members.
 
Lyle will be taking up the post of Chief Executive of IHE in December, and we send him our very best wishes for the future. I am confident our paths will continue to cross for the benefit of both organizations. I would like to personally thank Lyle for his dedicated and professional service to our Institute over the many years he has been with us.
 
In the coming weeks, we will begin the process of recruiting a new Executive Director.
