| More details | Tilbury site is a multi product operation situated within the Port of Tilbury. The operation comprises of a deep water berth capable of handling self discharge vessels up to 100,000tonnes. Vessels carrying rock or Ballast as dredged are discharged via 2 recieving hoppers and travel along a belt at speeds up to 4000tph to 2 large radial stacking conveyors. The two radials are designated for either rock on the northern radial and BAD on the southern one. In addition to the import conveyors there is a 500tph export conveyor capable of loading barges or small vessels for onward supply. The site also has onsite - a Wirtgen TBA 3000 asphalt plant which helps support our asphalt and contracting business. A Leibherr mobilemix 225 RMX plant and a 150tph Power X Marine sand and gravel processing operation. These are complimented by a rail loading and off loading operation using a large material handling excavator. The site also benefits from unrestricted operating hours. |
