| More details | The presentation will give an overview of the materials we use in hydraulic engineering including Lean Sand Asphalt, Open Stone Asphalt & Bituminous Grout, and will show several case studies highlighting the various applications covering dams, rivers, flood storage structures, estuaries, coastlines and ports. I will also describe the work & the challenges faced on the Canvey Island Southern Shoreline project which was completed in 2025 using over 88,000 tonnes of asphalt. |
